Job Title: Social Media Manager / Digital Ad Buyer

Location: Fully Remote

Description:

The Social Media Manager / Digital Ad Buyer will play a key role in the growth of Apex Current, LLC, and its subsidiaries’ by coordinating the development as well as deployment of social media campaigns while also assisting in ad buying operations.

He/she will cultivate content, schedule posts, and assist in launching as well as nurturing client ad campaigns optimizing for results. With each social media or ad campaign launch, he/she will continually work in tandem with CEO to optimize top performing ad inventory while understanding agreed upon key metrics for success and reporting those results weekly.

In this role, as he/she will also drive portions of the creative process including; curation of content pieces, responding to social media comments/questions, the selection and design of ad creative, writing ad and email copy.

Position Focal Points:

  • Social Media Management - Curate content for and manage any client social media accounts when applicable as well as Apex Current’s social media accounts which will include new business development campaigns supporting active channels and increased client growth opportunities.

  • Client Campaign Deployment - Assist in the deployment of client digital ad campaigns in a timely manner based on agreed upon project timeline and workflow schedule on Facebook, Facebook's Ad Network, LinkedIn, SnapChat, Google Ads, YouTube, etc.

  • Campaign Optimization and Key Metrics - Learn the key performance campaign metrics and support the CEO on campaign optimization for client campaigns to achieve ROAS (return on ad spend) goals.

  • Creative & Copy - Find optimal ad imagery assets, create graphics and write copy for ad placements.

  • Client Account Management - In certain cases, management and nurturing of Apex Current client accounts when and where needed to support client retention and overall client satisfaction.

Priorities Breakdown:

# 1 Social Media Management

  • Daily posts across client and Apex Current social media accounts

  • Curation and creation of social media assets

  • Leverage Apex's social media presence to grow new business opportunities

  • Increase engagement and growth of social media accounts

  • Respond to comments and questions in a timely manner

# 2: Ad Operations Support:

  • Learn how to set up initial campaign framework

  • Launch client ad campaigns on expected launch dates

  • Create, refresh and update Custom Audiences when needed

  • Create and support new ad creative and copy

  • Follow naming conventions and any other launch protocols

  • Double and triple check all aspects of ad before launching for correct links, ad copy grammar, etc.

# 3: Campaign Optimization:

  • Learn key metrics and support campaign optimization processes in conjunction with the team including; learning the skillset to split creative and copy to find successful inventory and continually refine knowledge and review analytics daily - demonstrating this in action by regularly presenting new ideas and concepts to help Apex Current optimize and provide the best possible return for clients.

# 4: Social Media & Ad Campaign Framework:

  • Become a master of the “why” behind campaign framework

  • Learn pixel & tracking codes best practices and placement

  • Learn Google Tag Manager

  • Set up of Custom Conversions

  • Set up of Custom Events

  • Set up of Custom Audiences

  • Structure and flow of campaigns

  • Integrations when necessary

# 5 Client Account Management

  • When needed, interact with Apex Current clients being presentable, kind and in a timely manner

  • Respond to emails & phone calls - provide buffer to CEO

  • Support project workflows & optimization of internal processes

  • Improve client retention through generating new opportunities that create ‘stickiness’

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $100,000
